There is always something in the works to make Bossarts an even better salon and spa. And sometimes, we even get around to posting it here!
OUR HOURS

Our Spa has come out of its cocoon
A cocoon is what our old space felt like to us—and maybe to you too. Even though great things were happening there, the space was tight, even cramped at times. But this is no longer the case: BossArts Spa has opened its wings!
We now have four private and comfortable treatment rooms, as well as a spacious room overlooking the hustle and bustle of the street, with four pedicure stations and four manicure stations. And last but not least, we have added a relaxation room, also with a large window, where you can enjoy lunch or read and relax while waiting for your appointment, for your nails to finish drying, or simply until you return to earth after your massage or facial…
Our Spa team has grown over the last few months, to allow us to serve you better, and it will continue to do so, as it becomes known around Ottawa that BossArts Spa has become what it promised to be. Help us spread the word!
Now on Facebook!
A Website is a good thing for any business wanting to share its information and news, but let’s face it… Do you know anybody who checks their hair salon’s website weekly, or even monthly, to find out what’s new? We don’t, and we are not sure we want to, either!
And this is not a problem, since, if you are interested in keeping up with what’s happening at BossArts, you can now join Bossarts Salon and Spa on Facebook, and you’ll be among the firsts to know when we offer a new service or a great deal, when there is a new addition to our team—in other words when things move at BossArts!
Our vision for our Facebook page is to make it as interactive as possible, a place where you can give us your comments and suggestions, where our staff can post tips, in other words a place where we can meet and chat between your visits to BossArts.
Inside News: Overdue promotion
As months and years go by, our staff learns new skills through training and experience. They grow, they get better and, normally, they get a new status to reflect their progression. And sometimes, we lose track. This is the only reason Emilie Tran had to wait so long to officially become a Senior Stylist. But this is just a formality, she reached this level a long time ago!
Curly Creative: New at BossArts Salon
Sometimes, it takes us time to take stock of our skills. Yet, anybody walking in our salon would instantly gather that two of our stylists have visible reasons to have studied and mastered curly hair styling and care. Renée and Kim know what it takes to make curly hair look good and they are happy to share their skills and knowledge with BossArts clients.
How do we do it?
If you are a new client or if you want a different style, we will start by discussing your options with you (just let us know when you book your appointment and we’ll schedule extra time). Our curly hair services typically start on dry hair with free hand and traditional cutting techniques. Once the hair is cut, we then wash it and refine the cut, before allowing it to dry naturally. And then we check your cut and style one last time, to make sure everything is perfect and you are happy with your look. A complimentary return visit a week later may be suggested.
You can check what our team can do for your curly hair on our Services page, or find out more about Kim and Renée in our People section. More questions? Just get in touch with us.
