Welcome to BOSSARTS

A number of salons and spas offer fine services in town. Like them, we have skilled professionals, some of the best products available, and an extensive list of services.

The difference—and the plus!—might be in our philosophy. Not only do we want to help you look your best, but we also focus on making your beauty experience pleasurable. Yes, pleasurable.

The BossArts Spirit: Three Vignettes

Your stylist has moved to Africa
Have you ever had a stylist that did your hair just right, without you ever having to tell her what to do? Have you ever called your salon to book an appointment with that stylist only to hear that she no longer works there, and no, they can’t tell you where she went?
How frustrating is it to know that your favorite stylist has vanished and might as well be in Africa by now.
This common practice of trying to enforce salon loyalty is a lose-lose situation that leaves both the client and the stylist stranded. In the meantime, remaining staff and clients are left to wonder when their turn will come to suffer from this culture of silence and manipulation.
At BossArts we not only tell you where your favourite stylists have gone, we give you their number as well. It sounds big of us? Well, hardly...  We just want to do what is right and treat our clients and staff with respect. Plus... the funny thing is stylists and clients seldom leave...

I don’t believe it! My hair is shorter on one side...
It happens and it happens more than it should—you go to a salon and pay for your service or products and they suck. Not enough highlights, looks choppy, or worse: it looks kinda green and choppy!
If we are the ones who disappointed you, you are in luck. Not only do we want to know about it, but we’ll want to fix it.
We are working all the time on improving our skills, especially our communications skills. When our front line staff asks the right questions to pair you up with the best fitting stylist, when our stylists ask you the right questions to find out what you want and need, we are better equipped to meet your expectations.
And whenever we don’t, we encourage you to let us know right away—we will do whatever we can to make it right. We are very approachable and appreciate clients who let us know that we did not hit the mark, for we take it as a sign that they trust us enough to let us make it right.

”It’s Bill’s day off? Oh ..”
You would only trust Bill with your hair? How flattering!...
Wait... Maybe you meant “Great, I can go to someone else without upsetting Bill!” (This is an hypothetical situation, of course, we could just as well said Felipe or Dorothy!)
Many clients stay with their stylists and aestheticians for the wrong reasons. Often, they’d rather leave a salon that they like, than risk hurting a stylist’s feelings by switching to one of his colleagues that appeals to them more.
At BossArts, we encourage you to try different stylists and aestheticians. There are a lot of reasons for this—maybe you can get appointments that suit your schedule better. Or it will allow you to tap into some new ideas or skills to refresh your style. Who knows, the personal fit might simply be better with that other stylist... After all, you’d never think of always going to the same restaurant when you eat out, right?
The thing is, we understand. We are humans too and, like you, we also feel a need for a fresh experience once in a while! Plus, no switch is irreversible!
